Experience sisterhood. As members of Alpha Delta Pi, we all have at least one thing in common: our special place in this sisterhood and the shared experiences we have had because of it. A sisterhood like this lasts far beyond your four collegiate years…it lasts a lifetime. It connects all 275,000+ active or past members of Alpha Delta Pi and reminds us why we continue to choose ADPi each day. I have formed friendships in ADPi that I know will remain constant throughout my life. These are the girls that write me encouraging notes when I’ve had a bad day, my shoulders to lean on and listening ears, and the biggest hype-women I could ask for. 

Experience belonging. Each one of our members brings something special to this chapter and is celebrated for her unique interests, experiences, and passions. At ADPi, you can come as you are! We want to get to know the real you! Coming into Primary Recruitment, I was nervous I wouldn’t find my place. But from the moment I left the ADPi house after Open House, I knew that I had found my home on campus where I can be unapologetically myself.

Experience support. As a pre-medical student, I have had my fair share of academic challenges. Throughout them all, my ADPi sisters have supported and encouraged me to be the best student, sister, and friend I could be. ADPi provides countless resources to its members to support them in all their endeavors. From study files to study nights at the house, mental health resources to professional workshops, mentorship programs with alumnae to major-based group chats, ADPi truly cares about supporting its members. There is even a Member Development team of chapter officers devoted to the holistic growth of each sister during her membership!

Experience achievement. ADPi has maintained the highest chapter GPA in the Panhellenic Council for over 5 years. On top of all of that, we earned 7 awards from the Fraternity and Sorority Life Office this year including Outstanding Member Development, Outstanding Philanthropy Event, and more! Being an ADPi means surrounding yourself around high-achieving and ambitious women. My sisters are my mentors and role models who push me to improve. We are so proud of all of our members’ hard work!

Experience leadership. As one of our core values, leadership is a skill that ADPi aims to foster in every member. Alpha Delta Pi is unique from many NPC organizations in that new members are able to hold officer positions. Coming through Primary Recruitment in 2021, I was searching for a chapter that would give me opportunities to improve my leadership skills from the beginning of my membership. I soon found out that ADPi was just the place for that! There are 37 officer positions with 14 positions on the Executive Committee. Some of those positions are traditionally held by new members and serve as a gateway to future leadership positions and exposure in the chapter. Members of ADPi are also leaders outside of the chapter and hold over 130 leadership positions in more than 80 organizations on and off campus. Through providing opportunities for growth like leadership conferences and leadership development workshops, the goal is for our members to leave the chapter as more prepared and confident leaders in their community.

Experience growth. When you walk across the graduation stage in 4 years, what kind of person do you want to be? These 4 years in undergrad are meant to be transformational, and ADPi is devoted to supporting you during your journey. Aside from my educational goals, I came into college hoping to gain confidence in myself and become a well-balanced person along the way. I can say without a doubt that in just two years as a member of Alpha Delta Pi, I have already made leaps and bounds towards my goal! I have been given countless leadership and professional development opportunities, endless academic support, and the chance to make lifelong friendships. 

Experience ADPi. The best decision I ever made was to join Alpha Delta Pi. I have experienced sisterhood, belonging, support, achievement, leadership, growth, and so much more in just my first two years of membership! The memories I have made in this chapter are priceless to me. Here’s to two more years of becoming the woman I always dreamed of becoming surrounded by over 200 of my very best friends.
