Dear AC’23,
From the drive and dedication you have shown us through countless conversations during recruitment, to picking your favorite gym shoes to wear as you run home to 476 Rose Street on bid day, you have started the most amazing entrance into a sisterhood that is going to last you a lifetime.
I remember the moment I held that envelope given to me by my Gamma Chi in Memorial Coliseum, anxiously tapping my toes as I waited for the countdown to open and hopefully see a piece of paper with three words written at the top.
Three words, five syllables, and twelve letters to be exact: Alpha Delta Pi.
Little did I know that those three words are more than black ink across a page, or gold metal across a house on the corner of rose street.
These three words will mean sisterhood, memories, and endless opportunities.
Alpha Delta Pi is a place where bright eyed women grow into who they have always dreamed of becoming and more through being surrounded by a constant group of people that will push you to succeed.

Through each worry and every win that you face while at the University of Kentucky and beyond, the group of sisters that share the same three words with you will be your road trip partners, coworkers, late night sweet treat drivers, study buddies, and ultimately your biggest cheerleaders.
I would be a hypocrite if I said college was simply perfect, and that struggles don’t exist because they sure will, but with each of these struggles and moments of hardship, the bonds you make within ADPi are strong, and will bring support and constant love as you ride the rollercoaster of being on your own for possibly the first time in your life.
From the dinners made at the Ronald McDonald House, to hosting sisterhood events, or running for leadership positions within the chapter, I urge you to become fully immersed within Beta Psi, and make the opportunity of being an active member throughout your college years worth it.

Live in the house, eat Monday night chapter dinners, ask a group of Alphas to go to the dining hall after events... the experience is what you make of it and more.
Remember that we are always in your corner.
We live for YOU and each other each and every day!!

I am more than excited to get to know each of your hearts and watch you grow into the role model you’ve always wanted to become.

Pi Love and Welcome Home!!!

Jenna Danneman (your Alpha mom)
