My name is Kelli Hill (but Beta Psi probably remembers me as Kelli Pope) and I am from AC’ 1987. This past fall, my daughter joined ADPi Beta Psi and loves it! As I visited her on parents weekend at the ADPi house, it brought back so many good memories! I lived in that same (but not quite as updated!) house for 2 years. We had the famous ADPi dessert almost EVERY DAY and the best cook and house boys on campus! Living with my 50 best friends was wonderful. It was so competitive to get into house even though we had no air conditioning, ha. There was a waiting list based on GPA. Getting to live in the coveted Pi Palace was the experience of a lifetime. It still is so cool to go back there with my daughter. It was great to see that the current girls are intelligent, well rounded, beautiful, and most important kind. It is so important to know that your child will build friendships that are lifelong - I definitely think that Julia has found that. I still keep up with my ADPi  sisters and love them like family. Some of my closest sisters were even in my wedding. This past fall I had the privilege of surprising my daughter at ADPi. That is a memory that I cherish deeply. I am so happy that this sisterhood is so strong and empowering to young ladies like my daughter. ADPi brought me some of the best people I know and to this day I am grateful for all Beta Psi has given me.

Before I rushed, I desperately wanted to go ANYTHING but ADPi. Why? Because my mom was a Beta Psi alum and my pride wanted to carve its own path. But the second I walked through those blue doors, I knew that it was ADPi from beginning. I quickly learned how sharing this experience with my mom would be one of the most rewarding experiences yet. Every time I walk in the Pi Palace, I get to see my mother’s composite. The best surprise yet was when my mom came and surprised me at school and got to return to the Pi Palace. My mom made the most wonderful memories with her ADPi sisters and I cannot wait to add my own!
