When I look back on my college experiences thus far, Alpha Delta Pi has been a constant source of happiness in my life. Although it sounds cliché, I would not be the person I am today if it weren’t for ADPi. I have grown so much in my past two years of college, and I have the entire chapter of ADPi to thank for that.

ADPi, thank you for the most genuine friendships. From our Monday nights spent watching The Bachelor to our trips to Nashville and big sleepovers. I have never met girls I can laugh so hard with at the most random things, who love me and all my craziness just as I am, and who are there to support me when I need it the most. College would not be the same without any of the amazing ladies I have met in this chapter. I am so grateful for all of you.

Thank you for giving me a community that wants me to become the best version of myself. I had never met a group of people who wanted success for me just as much as they wanted it for themselves until I joined ADPi. Everyone pushes me to work hard, but when I am struggling someone always has a good study tip or piece of advice to share. When I succeed, ADPi sisters are the first to cheer me on. College is hard and having such an amazing support system when it comes to my academics is part of the reason why I have been successful in my classes and beyond.

Most of all, thank you for being my home away from home. I came to UK from out of state. I didn’t know a single person here, and I was so nervous I would have a hard time meeting people. From the moment I stepped into the ADPi house during recruitment, it just felt right. All my friends in ADPi have become my family. We literally do everything together. Campus no longer feels like an overwhelming and intimidating place. Everywhere I go there is always a familiar face of one of my ADPi sisters. I feel so lucky to be surrounded by such loving people.

Thank you, ADPi, for everything you have brought me, I love you!
